The series begins as a typical magical girl comic. 10 year old 4th grade student Sakura Kinomoto opens an odd book in her father's study and accidentally releases magical Clow Cards. Her ability to open the seal, reveals that Sakura has special powers From then out it becomes her responsibility to retrieve the missing cards.
